Dhondup - Tibetan Thangka Artist

Her hair  streams upwards and she is shaded by a canopy of peacock feathers. The moon rests in her hair, and the sun in her navel. Around her ankles she wears broken chains, and at her waist she carries a baton bound with a snake belt. She sits astride a mule on a cannibal skin saddle and rides across a sea of menstrual blood The reins of the mule are snakes, and there is a single eye is on the mule' s rump. From her she is usually attended by her two companions; the blue lion-headed one and the red crocdile-headed one. She sometimes has four arms instead of two.
